Goshop Energy
GoShop Energy is a Congolese energy company founded in 1980 in Kinshasa, DRC, originally known as Trameco. Now one of Central Africa's leading energy suppliers, the company specializes in both conventional power solutions and green energy (solar and hydroelectric), distributing brands such as Victron Energy, Schneider Electric, and Fronius across the DRC, Rwanda, and Uganda, with over 10,000 projects completed to date.

Our mission
For GoShop Energy, we developed a fully custom Odoo theme built from scratch, establishing a strong and modern visual identity that reflects the company's ambition and expertise across the African continent.
The project involved a complete redesign of the user experience, including a rethought navigation structure to help users find relevant energy solutions more intuitively. To showcase GoShop's projects, we built a custom Odoo model dedicated to highlighting their projects, paired with an interactive map displaying their reach and impact across Africa.
The result is a bold, functional, and forward-looking platform that positions GoShop as a true leader in the African energy landscape.

Custom projects model
A fully custom project model was developed in Odoo, featuring a dedicated listing page showcasing all of GoShop's projects alongside a custom snippet combining an interactive map and a project preview slider. This gives visitors a clear visual sense of GoShop's reach and impact across the African continent, while reinforcing the company's credibility and expertise.

Custom Mega Menu
The navigation was fully redesigned with a minimalist approach, giving users direct access to the five main sections of the site: Solutions, Products, Projects, About, and Contact. A custom megamenu was developed under the Solutions section, structured with tabbed categories to help each type of visitor quickly find the offering most relevant to their needs.

Product pages
A dedicated project section was added directly within each product page, creating a direct link between a product and a real-world example of its deployment. This allows potential buyers to contextualise their purchase and build confidence in their decision.
